This auction is for one complete set of carbon fiber hood hinges as shown in pictures. Hood hinges are made by Old Skool Komposites. Bracket is approx. .060" thick. These hinges are similar in shape, size, and mounting location as the aluminum hinges made by Five Star. But are less than half the weight.
I manufacture these hinges in my own shop at Old Skool Komposites. I have a number of years experience in the composite industry. And have worked for a number of the top teams in Nascar. Swathed in cream leather, the Estoque’s interior is dominated by a huge transmission tunnel that divides the cockpit into four individual zones, each with its own bucket seat. There’s a razor-sharp, angular theme at work in the cabin: even the column stalks are hexagonal.
First Motorway Service Station Pub opens on M40
Tue, 21 Jan 2014The Hope & Champion pub (pictured) opens at Beaconsfield Services on the M40 Where to stop for a bite to eat on UK motorways can often be a bit of a lottery, with many oif us seeking a pub just off the motorway for a bit of a break and a spot of lunch. But now, amid some controversy and complaints from safety groups, JD Wetherspoons has opened the first pub at a motorway services, with the Hope and Champion open for business at Beaconsfield Services on the M40. The Hope and Champion will be open from 4am to 1am, seven days a week, and serve the usual JD Wetherspoons fodder of passable meals and drinks and, say JD Wetherspoons, a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee.
