Bentley at the Paris motor show 2008
Fri, 03 Oct 2008By Mark Walton Motor Shows 03 October 2008 16:25 Bentley launches its Arnage Final Series, a wonderfully blunt name for the run-out Arnage model. Probably a good thing too - the upright Final Series looked like a old-fashioned stately home next to its sleeker, more modern Continental siblings. EyesOn design awards 2012 winners announced at NAIAS
Tue, 10 Jan 2012The Detroit-based EyesOn Design competition winners have just been announced at their traditional time, late on the second press day of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The jury, which this year included Ralph Giles (Chrysler), Derek Jenkins (Mazda), Lorenzo Ramaciotti (Fiat/Chrysler), Peter Schreyer (Kia) and Franz Von Holzhausen (Tesla) had a much greater array of products to choose from than in recent years; this is a somewhat rejuvenated Detroit auto show. From the cars on display at the show, the judges shortlisted the Ford Fusion, BMW 3-Series and Cadillac ATS for the best production car award.
First Sight: Peugeot 1007
Fri, 02 Jul 2004Peugeot has revealed first details of the 1007, which it hopes will change the way small cars are perceived and experienced - "as did the introduction of the hatchback in the early 60s". The 1007 was previewed in the form of the Sesame concept at the 2002 Paris Motor Show. The small car 'B' segment accounts for more than 35% of the European market and is expected to grow by 17% over the next ten years.
