This auction is for a Carbon Fiber E36 sunroof filler. I also have them to fit E30, E36, E46 and E92 bodys, check my other auctions. It was designed to get the weight out of the top of the car for race applications, The factory sunroof , track and motor assy is over 40 pounds and it in the worst place possible( up high) . For maximum vehicle handeling you need to get rid of weight or move it down low. To install you need to remove the headliner and the whole sunroof assembly,then install this aprox 4 pound filler pannel in its place, the headliner can be replaced back in the car if so desired. Has predrilled holes for easy install. If you have any questions please ask away, I use one in my car and was happy to loose the weight. As you would expect, the underpinnings for the new F70 aren’t going to be made from recycled RSJs, but will be crafted from state of the art carbon fibre. Ferrari are proclaiming the tub and chassis of the F70 is directly derived – and developed in conjunction with – Ferrari Scuderia F1 nous and expertise.
