Fri, 09 Apr 2010Top Gear tackle a live Volcano in a Toyota in Iceland Top Gear is off air at the moment – if you don’t count the endless repeats on BBC2, BBC3 and Dave – and that usually means that the boys are off somewhere exotic. And so they are – this time to an active volcano in Iceland. It looks as if the boys have take the same Toyota they used in the trip to the North Pole – with May and Clarkson in the Toyota and Hamster on a sled – and done a modification or three to suit the heat instead of the cold.
New Lexus LS600 Hybrid launches at Frankfurt
Thu, 17 Sep 2009The revised 2010 Lexus LS600h Hybrid The 2010 version of the LS600h gets a set of styling tweaks, which include modifications to the front end with LED indicators, new bumper and grill, and new fog lights. Other changes include the door mirrors and chrome detailing. This hybrid only LS600 (Lexus has said they intend only making hybrids in future ) has had improvements made to the Hybrid System including an ‘Eco’ mode which effectively turns down throttle response to make the LS600h more economical.
New VW Taigun SUV Concept moves production reality closer
Wed, 05 Feb 2014The latest VW Taigun Concept (pictured) debuted in New Delhi The VW Taigun Concept – a new, very compact, SUV based on up! underpinnings – first made an appearance at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil in 2012 and looked to be not only convincing, but heading for production. By spring of 2013, VW’s Klaus Bishoff was saying the Taigun would go in to production and not just for emerging markets but for the UK and Europe too.
