Jaguar XE Roadster WILL get 3.0 litre diesel
Tue, 02 Aug 2011This Jaguar XE is running a 3.0 litre diesel lump Earlier today we ran an update on the ongoing speculation on Jaguar’s small sports car, confirming that Jaguar will debut the Jaguar XE at Frankfurt in September. And now we can add to that by reporting that it WILL be getting the option of a 3.0 litre diesel lump when it goes on sale in 2012. We’ve speculated for some time that Jaguar will add the very good 3.0 litre TDV6 from the XJ and XF to the range of engines on the XK.

But 48 hours is a long time in a 2012 season of tyres that dictate performance seemingly based on which way the wind’s blowing. So instead of Lotus dominating proceedings we had Mercedes qualifying strongly, with Michael Schumacher taking pole and team mate Nico Rosberg in third.

CDN Interior Motives China Conference Our annual China conference takes place on Thursday and Friday 18-19 April, just before the press day for this year's show, which is on Saturday 20th. Themed ‘Technology and tradition – old meets new in modern-day China', the conference will explore topics including how to design an experience, fashion and luxury in today's China, HMI design and the ‘multi-mode' interior, which flexes with the user's needs.
