Insurance is included in the shipping cost on items over $50.00. Insurance for items under $50.00 is available at your choosing. Please ask for the insurance fee to be added prior to payment.

When possible, options are given for shipping - choose what is best for you.

DETAILS FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We have listed our shipping rates for Australia, Canada and the UK. All other International bidders, please contact us for a shipping availability and quote.

Buyer is responsible for any and all duties, customs and taxes that may be charged.

When possible, you have the choice of either First Class International or Priority International shipping.

First Class International is less expensive, usually slower and has no tracking. The Customs Declaration # will only provide the date and time of acceptance at the location of drop off showing the item has been shipped.

Priority Mail International is more expensive, expected delivery is usually 6-10 days, provides tracking, delivery confirmation and some insurance based on the weight of the package.

If you choose First Class International, you accept the risk of a potentially lost package with no tracking available. A more secure choice is Priority. If you wish to upgrade your shipping to Priority and that option is not listed, please contact me and I will add that option for you.

Concept Car of the Week: Fiat Ecobasic

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

This week we're celebrating if not the most glamorous then certainly one of the most relevant concept of the last decade, the Fiat Ecobasic. The car was first shown at the 2004 Geneva motor show as Fiat investigated how to replace Giugiaro's ancient but brilliantly utilitarian Panda. The brief was: cheap to produce, cheap to own and friendly to the environment.

2013 Porsche Cayman: LA Auto Show (video)

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

The 2013 Porsche Cayman has arrived at the Los Angeles Auto Show with more power, less weight, better economy and is lower and longer than the old Cayman. The new Cayman gets a redesigned platform that manages to improve weight distribution and drops weight too. It also means that the Cayman changes shape too (well, as much as a Porsche ever does) and grows by 35mm in length and sits 10mm lower too for an even more Boxster-like look.

Honda Civic Tourer 1.6 i-DTEC wins MPG Marathon

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

The winners of the MPG Marathon in the Honda Civic Tourer 1.6 i-DTEC Last year Honda took the CR-V 1.6i-DTEC out MPG Marathon playing, and managed to return an impressive 78mpg in a car the official figures say should do 63mpg, disproving (to a point) that cars just can’t achieve official economy figures in the real world. This time it’s the turn of the new Honda Civic Tourer with the latest 1.6 i-DTEC ‘Earth Dreams’ engine to go out and eke every possible inch of tarmac from every single drop of petrol. In the hands of Honda R&D engineers Fergal McGrath, James Warren, Tony Shiggins and Julian Warren, the Civic Tourer drove a total of 330 miles and managed to do 97.2mpg – an impressive 31.8 per cent more than the official average.
