Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years

Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. Police officers help deliver baby

TWO POLICE OFFICERS have helped deliver a baby after being flagged down by a father-to-be in Ipswich. Pcs Jerry Cohen and Andy Masterson, from Suffolk Police's roads policing and firearms unit, had been called to the Orwell Bridge to deal with a broken down car in the early hours of the morning. As they went about their job, they saw a man, Andrew Mackie, running towards them, saying his wife had gone into labour.
