Carbs look to be in good shape but could use a cleaning and new carb kits before use.
Brand:Mercury Manufacturer Part Number:1384-8498

Here is a used carburetor from a 1980 Mercury 25hp freshwater outboard motor, serial 9379886.  OEM part number is 1384-8498.  The number 8498 is stamped into the carb flange.  Looks to have been used on 1980 to 1983 model year Mercury 25 hp models built in Belgium.  Carb appears to be in pretty good shape and I can hear the float moving freely in the bowl so they shouldn't be all gummed up.  It is recommended that the carbs be disassembled, cleaned and thoroughly inspect all passages prior to use.  All parts are sold AS IS for PARTS ONLY with no warranty expressed or implied so please ask all questions prior to bidding. Buyer will pay shipping and handling of $10.00 in the U.S. Payment to be made via PayPal and is to be received within 7 days of purchase. Please see my other items for more late model outboard parts.

Hertz announces Ford Mustang-based Hertz Penske GT rental car

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

There's nothing wrong with your basic cloth-interior rental cars, but there are times when you want to stumble off the plane and into something a bit more stimulating than a CVT-equipped Versa. Fortunately, rental car companies seem to be willing to answer the enthusiast call. Last week we told you about the Hertz Dream Car lineup and its $1,500-per-day Ferraris, but the company has also developed the muscle-car oriented Adrenaline Collection.

Classic Lamborghini video surfaces

Mon, 26 Jan 2009

The Lamborghini of today is a far cry from the Lamborghini of old. Starting life as a tractor maker, Lamborghini cars came in to being when Ferruccio Lamborghini complained to Enzo Ferrari about the clutch on his new Ferarri. The dismissive response was that “the fault is with the driver, not the car”, and so was born Ferruccio Lamborghini’s resolve to build a car to take on the might of Marenello from his factory in Sant’Agata (incidentally, when Lamborghini took apart the transmission in question, he discovered is was the same unit he was currently building in to his tractors!).

Toyota Auris concept (2006): first official pictures

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 29 September 2006 08:24 Toyota Auris: the lowdown Toyota has killed off the Corolla name in Europe and replaced it with the all new Auris, in a move reminiscent of Ford's Escort to Focus switch. Although the Auris is billed as a concept, it's production ready bar a few minor details. What you see here is what you'll get when the three- and five-door hatches arrive in uk showrooms early next year.
