It's a 36-page standalone mag charting our 2500-mile European road trip to thrash out which is the best sports car of the year. We'll have a full microsite launching later in the week, video, competitions and more - plus we'll upload a gallery every day with some of the out-takes, extra photos and background to our PCOTY road trip.
Morgan Threewheeler (2011) first official pictures
Wed, 03 Nov 2010Morgan surprised us all today by going back in time and unveiling the new-for-2011 roadster Threewheeler. Morgan started out making three-wheelers and from next year it will do so again; between 1909 and 1953 Morgan manufactured around 30,000 three-wheelers. One even won the French Grand Prix in 1913 and Stirling Moss owned one. The new Morgan will be fitted with the latest 'Screaming Eagle' 1800cc twin engine from a Harley Davidson married to a five-speed manual transmission from Mazda.
UK buyers plugging into electric cars
Wed, 07 May 2014Renault New figures suggest UK motorists are charged up about electric vehicles (EVs), with a record number of zero-emission cars now on Britain’s roads. Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) suggest there are more than 10,000 electric cars on the road today, with as many as 1,200 EVs sold in March alone. In the midst of an EV revolution Compare that to the lowly 270 that were sold during the same month in 2013 and it becomes hard to argue that we’re not in the midst of an EV revolution, especially when you combine the figures with the 10,200 hybrid cars sold so far in 2014, up by 45% on last year.
