The original '70s 911 Turbo was a prescient car, proving that Zuffenhausen had the expertise to mix it with the big boys from Modena. And so it proved, as the 911 gave way to 959 and from there to the latter-day Carrera GT.

Sci-fi Audi from Ender’s Game movie revealed

It’s an Audi, Jim, but not as we know it – this sleek, ground-hugging machine is a four-ringed future mobile from the forthcoming blockbuster science-fiction movie, Ender’s Game. It’s called the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro, and – like the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band’s ‘Urban Spaceman’ – here comes the twist: it doesn’t actually exist. Renault today announced a new six-year strategy dubbed Renault 2016 – Drive the Change. A typically naff marketing-led title, but there’s some interesting detail on CEO Carlos Ghosn’s vision for Renault between now and 2016. Like how he wants to build 1.5 million electric cars in the next five years.
