New York, California first to get electric Focus
Mon, 08 Aug 2011Customers in New York and California will be the first to take delivery of the 2012 Focus EV, according to a message posted on a Focus Forum from Ford marketing. That also explains some new material from the company which says, "2012 Focus electric; coming spring 2012." The Focus will launch in 19 markets, including Chicago, Detroit and Seattle, but it will hit the coasts first. Ford design chief J Mays retires, replaced by Moray Callum
Tue, 05 Nov 2013J Mays, Ford Motor Co.'s global design chief and one of the last senior executives remaining from the Jacques Nasser era, is retiring from the company along with two other veteran senior executives. Moray Callum, 58, design director for Ford in North America, will replace Mays, 59, the automaker said in a statement today. Also retiring after long Ford careers are Jim Tetreault, 57, vice president of North American manufacturing, and Martin Mulloy, vice president of labor relations.
2011 Infiniti M gets price increase
Tue, 14 Sep 2010Infiniti has increased the sticker prices of the 2011 Infiniti M sedan. The price increase, effective immediately, is $250 for M37 models and $350 for M56 models. Revised sticker prices are $47,375 for the Infiniti M37, $49,525 for the Infiniti M37x AWD, $58,775 for the Infiniti M56, and $61,275 for the Infiniti M65x AWD.
