We get the first view of the interior of the 4C, which is pretty impressive. Lots of exposed carbon fibre is on offer with the dashboard and door panels getting an ‘Asphalt’ treatment to make you thing ‘Road’ and ‘Alfa 4C’ as synonymous.

The Italian Grand Prix Monza 2010 It does make you wonder when you see one team – McLaren – using two completely different strategies whether they know what will work. Or maybe McLaren feels the needs to differentiate the strategies so the driver will be less of a focus than the strategy. Audi and Mercedes are big players (we still think the Mercedes R-Class a niche too far), and BMW play the game too, with cars like the BMW X6M and the new BMW 5 Series GT. If the Mercedes E Class Coupe Estate does go in to production it will bring to five the number of models based on the same Class – the saloon, the coupe, the cabriolet and the estate plus this new Coupe Estate.
