Its 102.8mpg (UK) claim puts the current Jazz Hybrid’s figure of 62.8mpg in the shade, as well as that of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid with 81.0mpg. It will be shown at the Frankfurt motor show this September before arriving in UK showrooms in 2014.
Young Men Most Likely To Be Disqualified From Driving
Thu, 07 Aug 2014NEW figures obtained by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) show that male drivers between the ages of 20 and 30 were the most common group to be disqualified from driving in the 12 months between July 2013 and June 2014. The figures were supplied by the DVLA following a Freedom of Information request made by the IAM. The statistics reveal the age groups most commonly carrying out a driving offence that then lead to a subsequent driving ban.

And Volvo’s new Flywheel KERS system does look promising. Volvo are currently running UK tests of a KERS flywheel system developed by Flybrid Automotive, which takes kinetic energy generated under braking and stores it in a flywheel fitted to the back axle.
