Mazda already has Tamura versions of the Mazda2 and Mazda6 on offer which were launched last year, and now it’s the turn of the Mazda3 to get the Tamura treatment. The Tamura is based on the TS but gets a sporty styling kit including sports front grille, side skirts and sports bumpers, a set of 17″ alloys, front fogs, metallic paint and the required badges.
Tesla offers finance deal on Model S
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Tesla Motors has joined forces with USBank and Wells Fargo Bank to create vehicle financing and leasing products that allow consumers to lease a Model S electric sedan for a net payment of about $500 a month after a 10 percent down payment and calculated savings. The 10 percent down payment often will be covered by federal and state tax credits available on electric vehicles. However, the $500 a month payment is an "effective" monthly payment.
White House pushes for Friday deal on fuel-economy regulations
Wed, 27 Jul 2011The White House wants to announce as early as Friday that it has reached agreement with most automakers on a plan to raise corporate average fuel economy targets to 54.5 mpg by 2025, manufacturers' representatives said Wednesday. While no automakers have signed on to the Obama administration plan yet, most--including Ford, Toyota, General Motors and Chrysler--are generally supportive and intend to do so, the industry officials said. Each manufacturer is trying to iron out technical issues with the White House before endorsing the proposal.
