Offering a used, in very good condition, vintage era rear axle mount Carlisle "Super Slick" go kart racing tire. The size is 11" in diameter, 6" wide treated and 5" rim mount. I recently purchased an assortment of go kart parts and accessories so that I may have just a few of the items in the lot. I had to buy all of it, most was not useable, or nothing special or not for vintage race karts. I did get a few tires that cleaned up well and appear to be in great shape. They are used, as evidenced by some rim mount markings and the inner air tubes that were in the tires and wheels. This vintage era Carlisle tire is great shape with no visible cracks in the sidewalls with the tire at rest or under simulated stress. I wish I could use it but it doesn't fit any of my karts. I'm keeping the two tires I initially sought and am offering the other few good ones for sale. UK Car Sales up again in October 2012
Wed, 07 Nov 2012New car registrations rose in October by 12.1 per cent in the UK, the ninth month of 2012 to see rising car sales. The European car market may be in a real mess with carnage looming for production facilities run by mainstream car makers, but the UK continues to grow its new car market with sales in October up by 12.1 per cent. Total new car registrations (which includes pre-reg) rose to 151,252 units, the ninth monthly increase of 2012, and the SMMT are now predicting total sales for 2012 of over 2 million, back to 2010 levels after a fall in 2011 to below the 2 million mark.
Fiat plans 500 and 500c Gucci editions
Tue, 16 Aug 2011Gucci editions of the 2012 Fiat 500 and 500 convertible will go on sale in December, Fiat said Tuesday. The cars will feature glossy pearl paint, green and red stripes on the body or roof, and satin-chrome mirrors and door handles. The interior will have special embroidery, two-tone seats, leather accents along with other design touches.
