Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4: Photo leaks

Tue, 22 Feb 2011

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Leaked Photo So far, we’ve had every sort of Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 story you could imagine in the run-up to a new car launch, from speculation over the name to disguised cars running around Europe, and all the way on to last week’s ‘Official’ spy video of the LP700-4. Now, with just a week to go before the Geneva Motor Show – and print media wanting to get their copies on to newsstands as the LP700-4 launches, the chances of a leak or three increase hugely. We’ve benefited once or twice from anonymous photos of new cars in our Inbox, but today its the turn of WCF who’ve had a scan drop in of Evo’s Croatian edition showing a top view of the new Lamborghini from a reader.

MG SV returns, TF founders

Tue, 15 Apr 2008

By Keith Adams (additional reporting by Russell Gowers) Motor Industry 15 April 2008 10:14 In the latest twist of the MG Rover saga, and three years after the original MG XPower SV supercar went out of production, the controversial coupe has made a surprise re-appearance. However, the likelihood of us ever seeing the reborn TF roadster seems to be receding by the week. Now known as the XPower WR, the Qvale Mangusta-based supercar has been eased back into production by William Riley – a descendant of the creators of the historic car company bearing the same name. His company, known as MG Sports and Racing Europe Limited, produces the supercharged WR, selling it for between £75,000 and £90,000 depending in specification. The rights to the car – and its badge – were bought from MG Rover administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005.

Porsche Panamera Shooting Brake Estate Concept at Paris?

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

It looks like Porsche will be showing a concept estate version of the Panamera at Paris – perhaps the Porsche Panamera Shooting Brake? The rumours that Porsche are preparing an estate version of the Panamera for the Paris Motor Show in September are gathering pace, and it now seems almost certain there will be a Panamera Shooting Brake Concept to upset Porsche purists when the Paris Motor Show opens on 27th September. Although the Panamera Estate Concept is highly probable, it seems likely any production car is some way off – probably 2015 at the earliest – before which we’ll see the Panamera get a facelift (which could arrive at Paris too) and even a Panamera Coupe and convertible on a shortened wheelbase.
