McLaren P1 – Driven by Jay Leno at the Top Gear track (video)
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Jat Leno (pictured) drives the McLaren P1 at the Top Gear track at Dunsfold We reported just a few days ago that the McLaren P1 has all but sold out, and one of those buyers is America’s petrolhead in chief, Jay Leno. Even though Jay isn’t short of a few bob, he’s not going to be the wealthiest buyer of a P1 (by far), but his celebrity status has conferred on him something most P1 buyers won’t get – the chance to take to the Top Gear track at Dunsofold in the new P1 with McLaren’s Chris Goodwin (Chief Test Driver) riding shotgun. Prior to the run round Dunsfold, Jay gets a tour of the new P1 production centre (perhaps the cleanest car production centre in the UK) before being whisked off to Dunsfold by helicopter.
Lexus pitch big BIK savings on new RX 450h
Fri, 24 Aug 2012The new Lexus RX 450h hybrid offers big BIK savings for company car drivers, something Lexus are keen to point out. Every car needs a USP to get its message across to potential buyers; a hook to land a sale. Depending on your wants, that USP could be anything from performance and style to running costs and boot space.
Kia Carens
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Kia's latest Carens compact MPV is set to debut on 27 September during the Paris motor show. The 2013 Carens, the work of Peter Schreyer and his design team, was conceived around the theme of ‘dynamic space' and features a cab-forward design with a longer wheelbase, lower roofline and chrome beltline accent. Very few other details have emerged of the Renault Scenic rival but we'll bring you full details when they do.
