Hurricane Sandy cars up for auction in New York

New York City is auctioning off 535 vehicles abandoned after Hurricane Sandy. More than 100 of those vehicles were sold on Tuesday; the rest will be auctioned May 2 and May 7 at David Maltz & Co. in Central Islip, Long Island.

Obama vows to help rebuild industry to compete, win

President Barack Obama on Tuesday vowed to hold U.S. automakers accountable for "bad practices" but promised to help create a "retooled, re-imagined auto industry." Volkswagen debuts tuned Jettas for SEMA

It's easy to get the impression that SEMA is all about unattainable and outlandish show cars, ones that will never see the street, but in reality there is plenty of iron (or carbon fiber really) from all sides of all ponds that we could see people driving on the street.
