Nearly half of male drivers admit to sleeping at the wheel
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Nearly half of male drivers admit to having fallen asleep at the wheel, a survey has found. Road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found that 31% of all drivers admit to ‘head-nodding’ at the wheel – meaning they’ve fallen asleep while driving a car for between two and 30 seconds. And now it’s the turn of Germany to get a goodbye XK. The Jaguar XK66 is a limited run XK – just 66 are being built – with the ’66′ moniker referring to the 66 years since the introduction of the XK’s earliest direct ancestor – the Jaguar XK120.
Infiniti plans to add new flagship sedan, expand crossovers
Tue, 14 May 2013Nissan Motor Co.'s premium Infiniti marque plans to add a new top-tier halo nameplate above its Q70 flagship sedan and expand its crossover offerings to build the brand and fuel sales, President Johan de Nysschen said. The roll out is part of Infiniti's drive to cover 90 percent of all global premium segments by the end of the decade, compared to just under 60 percent today, de Nysschen said. De Nysschen also floated a bold new global sales target of 600,000 units by around 2020, from just 170,000 last year.
