MINI London 2012 Edition launches to celebrate Olympic Games
Wed, 28 Sep 2011MINI London 2012 Edition - in patriotic red, white or blue The launch of the MINI London 2012 Edition to celebrate the Olympic Games neatly pulls together two of MINI’s marketing tactics; shove out as many limited edition models as you can and give them a London theme. True, this edition of the MINI uses the London moniker intact instead of using a badge from a London area, but it’s consistent with the current MINI special edition target. As is MINI’s aim to cash in on any bit of publicity it can – sometimes tenuously – get a hook on.
Infiniti M Saloon teased
Wed, 05 Aug 2009This is the 'tease' for the Infiniti M Saloon But now Infiniti are ramping up interest in the next generation Infiniti M Saloon (which we haven’t had in Europe so far – think Lexus LS by Nissan) by releasing the teaser image you see here. The Infiniti M will slot in above the Infiniti G37 as a luxury high-performance car and, from this teaser image, it does look as if it’s taken some of the swoopy-coupe lines we saw in the Infiniti Essence Concept back at Geneva. There is no word yet on the powertrain for the Infiniti M, but the Infiniti Essence Concept was said to sport a V6 lump coupled to an electric motor giving the equivalent of 590bhp.

Mon, 24 May 2010The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee I don’t know why, but I always thought the Grand Cherokee an appealing SUV. It was soft and soggy in typical Yank-Tank way, and its interior trim owed more to the art of plastic than trees, but it had an appeal. More so in V8 mode than the Euro-Special diesel, although the current 3.0 litre is a lotĀ betterĀ than the 2.7 litre it replaced.
