Step 1: Plug your CarMD handheld device into your vehicle’s connector
Every foreign and domestic car, light truck, SUV, minivan and hybrid manufactured since 1996 has a connector within the dashboard that enables access to its internal systems - the same information your mechanic accesses. Simply plug your CarMD into this connector, wait for the 4 beeps and then unplug it.
Step 2: Connect your CarMD device to your desktop or laptop, review and print results
Plug your CarMD device into your PC or Mac computer by using the USB cable that comes with your kit. You can then print or email a VERY simple report that shows you what is wrong with your car and how much it should cost to fix it! Take that printout to the auto shop, and they will know that you are not someone they can take advantage of!
