But it’s getting closer (even though its not actually going to be on sale until 2010) and finally Aston Martin has released the first official image of the car, although there was a so-called official image (or rendering) of the Rapide a little while back. For some reason this story and the image were embargoed until tomorrow.
Toyota reveals safety research car at CES
Mon, 07 Jan 2013One day before the International Consumer Electronics Show opened its doors in Las Vegas, Toyota took the wraps off the highest-tech Lexus LS ever made. The car -- with spinning sensors and probing lasers galore -- is meant to demonstrate safety features that could be coming to production cars someday soon. Called the Advanced Safety Research Vehicle, it sure looked like some of the autonomous self-driving vehicles we saw at the DARPA Challenge, but Toyota stressed that a robot car is not the goal.
Koenigsegg to celebrate 100th car with special model

Christian Von Koenigsegg founded his eponymous supercar company back in 1994, but it took until 2002 for the first customer car to be delivered. That first car was the Koenigsegg CC8 (a development of Christian’s original CC prototype) which featured bespoke everything – from chassis to suspension and brakes – but utilised a Ford 4.7 litre V8.
