Fit / Interchange / Using eBay Compatibility and Fitment

Automotive recyclers have a system of interchange, and it is NOT the same as eBay's compatibility system. What this means is we know which parts from one vehicle will fit other vehicles to a finer level of detail then eBay's Compatibility can provide. This list of recycler provided interchange is below, and eBay's is available above on this page. Please read the notes at the end of this section, it is a list of the requirements for this part to fit your vehicle. Keep in mind that interchanging parts may require you to strip the part to its most basic assembly and reuse your accessories from your bad part assembly.

When using the eBay compatibility table you must move your cursor over the notes section for compatibility.  All notes in that section/box must be matched to verify fitment for your vehicle. It is extremely important that you read those notes to verify you are buying the correct part for your vehicle. You, the buyer, have the responsibility to make sure you order the correct part for your vehicle. If you have any questions, please contact us before making a purchase as we will be happy to assist you with your purchase in any way we can.

OUR GOAL AT PAM'S AUTO IS TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CORRECT PART THE FIRST TIME!  IN ORDER TO DO THIS PLEASE READ THE ABOVE AND/OR CALL US SO WE CAN ASSIST YOU!  WE UNDERSTAND YOU NEED TO GET YOUR VEHICLE FIXED AND BACK ON THE ROAD AND NOTHING MAKES US SMILE MORE THAN HAPPY CUSTOMERS!

Lotus not liquidating

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

When a storied car brand moves only 137 units in a year in the UK and 242 in the US, predictions of said marque's demise carry a certain amount of weight -- 137 is not exactly a number that makes an automaker too big to fail. When the manufacturer in question shows up on a government list of companies to be shut down, brand-enthusiast hearts get heavy; the early stages of mourning kick in. But when the company in question is Lotus, the enthusiast thinks to himself, “Eh, they've been in dire straits before.
