Carrillo - BMW E30 M3 S14 Forged Connecting Rod

In 1963, Fred Carrillo set out to manufacture the finest Connecting rods available, and today, Carrillo is still a trusted leader in the field.
Forged from "Carrilloloy " a proprietary alloy blend of USA sourced ingredients; Carrillo's Rods start off different.
As a billet of Carrilloloy, they are worked into the specific forging using the latest technology, enabling Carrillo to dictate the grain flow they want to see for the ideal strength to weight ratio.
Each con rod is then heat treated, and subjected to rigorous material tests ensuring forgings are of the highest quality, with world class precision.

We work closely with the Pankle family of race products including Carrillo / CP Pistons. This ensure you optimal fit and fitness to your application including critical specifications like HP & Tq output, RPM, Stroke, Weight and more. Don't just take our word for it; Carrillo is found in winning race engines of all types around the world.

Bendix Woods park was formerly the Studebaker proving grounds, and much of the track surface is still visible in satellite photos.

Wed, 14 Jan 2009

Each January, enthusiasts flock to Arizona for the most exciting events on the auction calendar. Seven companies--Barrett-Jackson, RM Auctions, Gooding & Co., Russo and Steele, Kruse International, ICA Auctions and Silver Auctions--will duke it out, with more than 3,000 collector cars on the block. But with real estate tanking, the economy in a tailspin, consumer confidence at an all-time low, retail car sales bottoming and automakers begging for loans in Washing-ton, is this any time to buy an old car at auction?

MINI Yours: MINI customisation kicks off with MINI Avenue

Mon, 07 Nov 2011

MINI Avenue - an off-the-peg MINI Yours We already know that MINI seems to launch more limited editions every year than the whole of the rest of the car industry. But now they’re going a step further with a customisation programme called ‘MINI Yours’, and an off-the-peg version called the MINI Avenue. MINI Yours is all about offering the sort of customisation offered for the original Mini in the 1960s by companies like Radford - and about making good margins on the add-ons – with a huge range of customisation stuff above and beyond what appears in the MINI Limited Editions.
