Welcome to Mountain Man Fuel Systems. If you do not see the carburetor or the part you need or would like a quote on Rebuilding your carburetor Call 479-639-2022 or Email .

Please ask your questions before bidding. The KIT will ship within 24 hours of payment.

This kit contains: accelerator pump, needle & seat, weights, checkball, clips, gasket & instruction sheet. Color of gaskets may vary. 447

Please choose your carburetor kit from the numbers that are stamped on the carburetor or the metal tag. Even the metal tag can be questionable as they can be swapped around. Even if you think you have the original carburetor it is best to confirm this with the numbers on the carburetor. We have had customers POSITVE it's the original only to get their kit and find out it doesn't fit. Their carburetor is actually a 1977 not a 1976... One year off can make a difference in the kit you need.  The third picture shows you where the numbers are located on the carburetor. All numbers are followed by the letter S or SA and sometimes SB.

This kit fits the following carburetor numbers: The third picture shows you where to locate your carb number

I have been rebuilding carburetors for 29 years. I truly enjoy what I do and take great pride in the product I build. I worked for a National Rebuilder for 22 years. I got tired of my paycheck relying on QUANITY not QUALITY. The Mrs and I took a chance moved to Arkansas and worked hard to open our own carburetor shop. She has 16 years in carburetors and can answer 90% of your questions. She answers the phone and handles our parts department.

If you have any questions about this kit or a different application or part please email call our shop Mountain Man Fuel Systems 479-639-2022

Thank you for looking and we hope to hear from you. Ted & Ardell

This day in Autoweek history: The 1976 Chevrolet Chevette

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

Today in Autoweek history, we look back to the week of September 20, 1975, when Corey Farley gave us a look at the new 1976 Chevrolet Chevette. The B-segment (for 1976, anyway) newcomer weighed in at a scant 1,998 pounds and carried an equally lightweight MSRP of $2,899. Farley described how the Chevette handled some of the rigors of testing, which included hauling four journalists and their camera equipment around the Black Lake testing facility in Milford, Mich.
