This is a used 6410S Carter Thermo-Quad four barrel carburetor.  It is the original equipment carb for 1973, Chrysler Imperial, New Yorker, Newport, Dodge Aspen, Charger, Coronet, Monaco, Polara, Ramcharger, truck, van, Plymouth Fury, Road Runner, Satellite, Trailduster, 440 cubic inch, 8 eight cylinder engines and automatic transmission and California emissions equipment.  The base is stamped 6410S and is dated 145 3.  This carb was removed from a Dodge in a Southern California junk yard a while back as noted by the blue junk yard marker on the lid.

The literature from Carter lists the application as:

1973 Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth w/ 440” (A120) (Calif.) A/T,

This carb may also fit other years and models of Mopar cars and trucks and vans.  Please do your own research to be sure that this carburetor is correct for your application.  I am selling it as-is, but I will guarantee it to be received as described.

Ford C-Max and Mondeo spotted in Detroit

Detroiter Spencer Abbott spotted a couple of Euro Fords out cruising the boulevards of suburban Detroit this weekend. Like a good Autoweek reader, he snapped a few photos as soon as it could be done safely. The C-Max can be easily explained, as Ford plans to start selling the little people mover stateside this fall.
