This Carter Ball & Ball 1 barrel carburetor with a manual choke. DTE1 is stamped on the fin of the fuel bowl top. I believe the B and B might be for a Dodge or DeSoto 6 cylinder from 1941-52 or so? One reference has this manual choke carb listed for the 1949 6 cylinder Pickup Truck/Power Wagon/Panel truck. It needs to be rebuilt.
