Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept revealed ahead of Detroit If you’re pumping big bucks in to F1 – as Infiniti are with Red Bull – then you want to make sure you get a return in the form of road car sales. Which is why we’re getting the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept, heading for a debut at the Detroit Auto Show this month. Teased with a front view last month, the Q50 Eau Rouge gets a complete body makeover – inspired, of course, by Infiniti’s F1 Aerodynamics with Red Bull – which makes the Q50 both lower and wider than the standard model and gets a carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser and side skirts.

VW announces seven-passenger CUV at Detroit auto show

Last year at the Detroit Auto Show, VW showed the CrossBlue concept. Built on VW's new MQB modular architecture, the CrossBlue was designed to both showcase the versatility of MQB (it also underpins the upcoming Golf, the new Audi A3, as well as SEAT and Skoda models) and illustrate that VW was serious about the seven-passenger market in the United States. Pininfarina didn't show a new car at this year's Geneva Motor Show, but there was a surprise new model on the Tata stand adorned with the famed Carrozzeria's signature. Called the Tata Prima (meaning 'first' in Italian), the luxury sedan concept is the first official project of the Tata-Pininfarina cooperation. Based on the platform of the Tata Indigo - the first Indian sedan - the Prima is an indication of how future Tata sedans could look.
