This Kit is for the CARTER WCFB with the choke housing mounted on the side at the top of the carburetor (see second picture) ( Will not work with choke housing mounted at the base)( see 3rd pic). The base mount kit is a different listing.. THIS KITS COME WITH THE ELECTRIC STAT, CHOKE GASKET, PIGTAIL CONNECTOR, PLUG FOR THE HOT AIR LINE PLUS THE WING NUTS AND SCREWS FOR INSTALLATION AND INSTRUCTIONS. THIS IS A VERY SIMPLY CONVERSION AND WILL DEFINITELY HELP WITH COLD WEATHER STARTS. THE CHOKE MUST BE CONNECTED TO A 12 VOLT KEY ON KEY KEY OFF SOURCE. PREFERABLY STRAIGHT INTO THE FUSE BOX. I WILL BE HAPPY TO GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS. PLEASE NOTE: This will not work on your carburetor if you do not have a choke housing or Choke housings mounted at the base of the carburetor. I have been rebuilding carburetors for 29 years. I worked for a national rebuilder for 22 years. I got tired of my pay check relying on quanity and not quality. Ford to sell two concepts at auction
Tue, 09 Aug 2011Amongst the numerous one-off concept cars and rare historic vehicles set to be auctioned off at the forthcoming RM Auctions sale in Monterey, California, Ford has contributed two of its own unique concept cars to be sold. All proceeds of the sale will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) charity. The race-inspired 2005 Ford Shelby GR-1 concept and the 2001 Thunderbird Sports Roadster concept will be presented by the world's largest collector car auction house on August 19th in California as part of its Monterey sale. It is believed that the 2001 Shelby will sell for between $150,000 and $200,000 while the 2001 Thunderbird concept will fetch between $125,000–$175,000. There will be no reserve on the cars.

Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost wins engine of the year
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine was named the 2013 International Engine of the Year on Wednesday, marking the second consecutive year it has done so. The engine also took home the highest score in the history of the awards, along with a “Best Engine Under 1.0-liters” category. The tiny engine packs a respectable punch for its size, producing 123 hp and 148 lb-ft or torque (Specs may be different pending specific model the engine is in).
