SmallTownSpeed is proud to be the North American dealer for the quality cast aluminum, Australian made, AussieSpeed product line. This listing is for one brand new, sand cast aluminum fuel tank kit. This tank holds about half of a gallon, and is 10" long, 6" at the widest point, and 4" wide at the back. Its predrilled and tapped with 3 3/8" BSP(British standard pipe thread, common in Europe, not so much in the US), and comes with 3 plugs, one is machined all the way through for the petcock(included), and the the other 2 are blind plugs that accept common metric bolts(M6 if I recall) for mounting. If your frame has 2 top tubes, its pretty easy to mount with a metal strap, or you can weld tabs/brackets onto your frame. The fuel cap covers fit onto a trimmed down oil cap, that is included. It is pressed in as shown, but can be pried out if necessary for powdercoating, or any other reason.. Note: These are small production run, sand cast, aluminum parts. These are high quality parts, but due to the manufacturing process, there can be very slight variances from part to part, and they do come with an "as cast" finish which is coarse. I personally run these parts, and have been blown away by the quality(have never had an issue with any of them), but just want to remind people that these are cast parts, not factory made, cnc machined billet parts(which is a big part of why I prefer these parts). Electric SEAT Altea & plug-in SEAT Leon hybrid revealed
Sun, 13 Nov 2011The SEAT Altea EV & plug-in SEAT Leon hybrid - testing for the next 4 years Seat may have revealed a pair of cars with ‘eco’ powerplants - the Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive and the Altea XL Electric Ecomotive – but they’re not coming to a showroom near you. Well, not before 2015, anyway. The plan is to build a small prototype fleet of the Leon Hybrid and Altea EV and make them available to local government in Catalonia and Madrid, to get evaluation and real-world feedback before the cars go in to production, which won’t be for at least four years.

The location at Dunsfold Aerodrome, Surrey, has been the venue for star guests such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Damian Lewis to drive a lap for the programme. Test driver The Stig - at the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black - accompanied the Google car as it did a circuit of the 2.82km track.
