THIS HAS BEEN SITTING ON MY SHELF FAR TOO LONG.  BOUGHT IT TO REPLACE THE STEEL OIL PAN WHEN I PULLED THE ENGINE OUT OF MY CRUISER.  NEVER DID IT, AND HAVE NOW SOLD THE BOAT.  PAN IS FOR A MARINE CRUSADER 454 ENGINE BUT SHOULD FIT MOST GM 454 ENGINE BLOCKS.

IT HAS SOME SHELF RASH, AND NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING, BUT VERY SERVICEABLE.  NO  CRACKS.  

REPLACE YOURS TODAY BEFORE YOUR STEEL PAN CORRODES, DUMPS OIL IN YOUR BILGE AND DESTROYS YOUR ENGINE.

Infiniti has recruited Simon Cox as design director at its Infiniti Design London studio, which is currently Nissan Design Europe. He will report directly to Infiniti executive design director Alfonso Albaisa. The new appointment comes as Infiniti attempts to evolve its design strategy by establishing new dedicated design studios, of which the London Paddington studio is the first.

Maserati looking at LaFerrari for MC12 successor

Maserati is looking into building a successor to the MC12 Stradale supercar based on the Ferrari LaFerrari, according to a report from Autocar. Maserati boss Harald Wester didn't confirm it to the British magazine, but admitted there is an opportunity. The new car would use the chassis and suspension components from the LaFerrari, but not its electric motor and KERS system.

Spa saw Jenson Button drive brilliantly for a lights to flag win, and here at Monza Button is riding shotgun for Hamilton’s pole as the 2012 Italian Grand Prix looks set to see the resurgence of McLaren continue. This time it was Lewis Hamilton who dominated from the lights – only briefly losing the lead during a pit stop – after a clean start saw him put clear air between the McLaren and a fired-up Massa who managed to wedge his Ferrari between Hamilton and Button before the first corner.
