Win a Jaguar XJ and help the NSPCC

Mon, 09 Nov 2009

Before anyone else in the world, how do you fancy owning the first ever new-generation Jaguar XJ? To coincide with the launch of its new XJ limo, Jaguar has teamed up with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), and hopes to raise £1m for the charity’s helplines by offering lottery tickets with the keys to the first XJ as the prize. Tickets cost £125 per entry, and along with the donation towards the NSPCC each entrant needs to answer three questions.

Volvo S60 Long Wheelbase (S60L) goes in to production

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Volvo S60 Long Wheelbase (S60L) goes in to production Volvo certainly seems to be on the up at the moment, with new cars like the new V40 challenging established premium compacts and a complete new engine range in the offing. That is, to a great degree, down to the ownership of Volvo by China’s Geely after a period of stagnation under Ford, and now the Chinese ownership is starting to make strides in China. Chinese sales for Volvo are growing, and that’s going to be helped by a new long wheelbase version of the S60, built for the Chinese market in China and due to debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show later this month.

'Jag-Landy deal in 2 weeks'

Thu, 06 Mar 2008

He said the paperwork and epic detail required on a deal of this scale had created new delays – and revealed that the 4-5 March date had been leaked from the unions, not Ford or Tata.
