2015 Nissan Murano touches down at New York auto show Wednesday

The automaker -- recalling the positive consumer reaction after the Murano's debut in 2002 -- is banking on the racier design to snag attention from new customers in one of the industry's most competitive light-truck segments.

New owner Tom McDowell had taken over the annual "Celebration of Italian Style" and moved the whole festival from the rather barren airport location to the sprawling Laguna Seca Golf Ranch just downhill from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. JLR launches UK recruitment campaign
Wed, 08 Jan 2014JAGUAR Land Rover has begun a campaign to recruit hundreds of new workers at its Engine Manufacturing Centre near Wolverhampton. Phase one of the overall plan will see 600 new employees join the company over the next four years, with the long-term aim being to recruit 1,400 extra staff members. The first 600 workers will be employed on the manufacturing line itself, producing parts for complex new engines destined to power cars like the Range Rover Evoque and the Jaguar F-Type.
