In 2006, Caterpillar started producing CX31 and CX28 automatic transmissions, which can be used in recreational vehicle applications. The CX28 has six forward speeds with horsepower up to 400 and torque up to 1,250 pound-foot. It matches up with the Cat C7 and C9 diesel engines. Outfitted with electronic control module, transmission uses J1939 communications protocol and delivers up to 400 hp and 1,250 lb-ft torque. 2014 Michelin Challenge Design finalists announced

Their work will be showcased in January at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. A judging panel of automotive designers and industry experts selected individuals and teams from Italy, China, South Korea, Finland, Serbia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Guatemala from over 900 registrants from 74 countries.

The 80-year-old - who plays the role of Rita Tanner in the ITV soap - was held on suspicion of driving under the influence at her local police station in Knutsford, Cheshire. The veteran actress had gone there after her daughter, Maxine Ashcroft, 56, was earlier arrested for the same offence.
