  • fits 1987 thru 1996 Chevy Caprice

  • UPGRADE your ugly factory (31 inch) metal shaft antenna with this rugged yet functional (24” inch) CB antenna. If you are unsure that it fits, try unscrewing the existing antenna mast off. If it twists right off, then this antenna WILL FIT since it COMES WITH VEHICLE SPECIFIC ADAPTERS (no two antennas are the same fit).

  • How to put it on--Installation is very simple. This is a PLUG-N-PLAY antenna, which means it screws onto your existing antenna mount (a direct bolt-on part, no wiring involved) and takes a minute to do.

  • How is the Reception—This high quality CB Antenna maintains your stock AM FM reception and in most cases IMPROVES your reception. You can also connect your CB radio to this antenna which eliminates the need for a second antenna mounted on your vehicle.

  • PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide connections to your CB radio. We only provide the connections to your vehicles stock antenna mount.

Viper sports car division no longer for sale

Mon, 13 Jul 2009

By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 13 July 2009 14:08 Viper’s yo-yoing lifeline looks to be finally secured after ailing parent company Chrysler said the sports car maker was no longer for sale. Rather than killing off its muscle-bound brand, last summer Cerberus-run Chrysler considered selling off the rights to the Viper, hoping to achieve around $10m for the Detroit assembly plant and brand equity to bolster its dwindling cash reserves and stave off imminent bankruptcy. After an initial surge of interest from similar-minded companies like Roush and Saleen, curiosity nosedived along with the global economy.

Ford Explorer (2011) launches +video

Tue, 27 Jul 2010

The 2011 Ford Explorer Because it’s unlikely we will get the 2011 Ford Explorer on this side of the Pond, we haven’t covered its interminable tease in any real detail. Yes, we reported on the 2011 Explorer getting Ford’s new Curve Control, an electronanny designed to cure understeer, but we didn’t report every silly photo Ford released. But not being thorough on reporting a really boring and drawn out tease is one thing, but we can’t ignore the launch of a new version of a vehicle that until quite recently was selling almost 500k a year.

Vauxhall – Ellesmere Port jobs safe

Thu, 26 Nov 2009

Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port Plant will have no job losses It looks like the bulk of the savings that GM need to make in Vauxhall/Opel are going to fall outside the UK, with the news that there will be no job cuts at the Astra-making Ellesmere Port plant and around 340 job losses at Luton. Which is about as good as the news was ever likely to be for Vauxhall workers in the UK. Whatever the outcome of the GM/Magna deal it always seemed likely that Ellesmere Port would be relatively unscathed.
