LEFT BREATHER HOSE FROM MY 1980 CB900C CUSTOM

Runs from the oil pump (left) side of the engine to the air cleaner housing (airbox). There are some cracks on the ends (see detail pictures) but the hose is not otherwise stiff or brittle. Includes clips.

The left side breather hose and breather box overflow storage tank are also available, and I will combine shipping.

From what I’ve seen on line, this was also used on:

CB750F Super Sport 1980, 1981, 1982

CB750K Four 1980, 1981, 1982

CB750SC Nighthawk 1982, 1893

CB900C Custom 1980, 1981, 1982

CB900F Supersport 1981, 1982

CB1000C 1983

But please do your own research, compare carefully, ask questions, and/or verify with your dealer, mechanic or other reliable source before before purchasing.

See any incorrect information? Please let me know!

Last summer I parted out my 1980 Honda CB900 Custom, which I had owned since 1982. About all that is left are the engine and transmission components, and some miscellaneous parts (foot pegs, wiring harnesses, levers, clamps, brackets, relays, etc.). All of the higher demand parts (gas tank, side covers, exhaust, gages, headlamp, fenders, chrome trim, controls, handlebars, charging system, ignition system, air shocks, brakes, oil pump, starter) have been sold off. However, if there is a specific part you are looking for feel free to ask about it using the “Ask a question” link.

Please don't bid if you want these parts to be new, because they aren’t. But I did take very good care of this bike. The bike was never in an accident. Many of the parts are as good as you’ll be able to find; all of the parts will be good enough to get your bike on the road again. Every part will have something wrong as they are used (and 33 years old). If it's bad, I try to mention it, but I don’t list every scuff, dimple, scratch, pit, or rust spot. Please do look at my feedback on parts from this bike which have been sold.

Shipping cost is based on actual package weight, size, and zip code (unless using USPS Flat Rate boxes) and generally only includes a “handling” charge if I have to purchase shipping materials (to cover the cost); mostly I use recycled shipping materials and try to ship the most economical method. I will combine shipping, but doing so may delay shipping a day or two as I will need to repackage your items.

·        I do my best to accurately and honestly describe all items, but since this is a used item and I have no control over its installation or usage, it is sold “As-Is".

·        If there is a problem with your item, please let me know before leaving neutral or negative feedback, as I would like the opportunity to make it right. I try to always leave feedback after you are satisfied.

·         Local pick up is welcome. Please contact me for payment options for local pick up

2013 Suzuki Jimny facelift from £11,995

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

Suzuki has given their evergreen pocket SUV – the Suzuki Jimny – a facelift for 2013, but prices still start at £11,995. Suzuki has been building the little Jimny SUV – in one form or another – since 1970, and the current Jimny has been with us since 1998. But despite the Jimny being from another age, Suzuki aren’t giving up on it yet and have managed to churn out a facelift for 2013.

One Lap of the Web: Exotic car dealerships, fake Ferraris and the Renault R5 Turbo

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Meet the real-life Little Old Lady from Pasadena courtesy of YouTube as this "60-something" lady roasts the meats on her C63 AMG Benz.
