PASSENGER FOOT REST REMOVED MY 1980 HONDA CB900C CUSTOM

Light surface rust as shown. Rubber is in good used shape. The end plate has some cosmetic damage (see picture). Pivots freely.

Sale includes the rubber mounting bushing/isolator and collar, along with all mounting hardware (M10 flange bolt, washer and flange nut; M8 flange bolt and cap nut). The rubber bushing does have some damage (see picture).

I think the only difference between the right and left side is the direction the pivot pin and snap ring are installed. I have seen both “right” and “left” sold here on eBay with this pin facing different directions. They both use the same components. This one came off the left side of my bike. The right side is also available (along with one of the driver foot rests) and I will combine shipping.

From what I’ve seen on line, this should fit:

·        1980 1981 1982 CB900C CUSTOM

The mounting base also appears to be the same as the 1983 CB1000 Custom, but the foot peg is different.

But please do your own research, compare carefully, ask questions, and/or verify with your dealer, mechanic or other reliable source before before purchasing.

See any incorrect information? Please let me know!

Last summer I parted out my 1980 Honda CB900 Custom, which I had owned since 1982. About all that is left are the engine and transmission components, and some miscellaneous parts (foot pegs, wiring harnesses, levers, clamps, brackets, relays, etc.). All of the higher demand parts (gas tank, side covers, exhaust, gages, headlamp, fenders, chrome trim, controls, handlebars, charging system, ignition system, air shocks, brakes, oil pump, starter) have been sold off. However, if there is a specific part you are looking for feel free to ask about it using the “Ask a question” link.

Please don't bid if you want these parts to be new, because they aren’t. But I did take very good care of this bike. The bike was never in an accident. Many of the parts are as good as you’ll be able to find; all of the parts will be good enough to get your bike on the road again. Every part will have something wrong as they are used (and 33 years old). If it's bad, I try to mention it, but I don’t list every scuff, dimple, scratch, pit, or rust spot. Please do look at my feedback on parts from this bike which have been sold

Shipping cost is based on actual package weight, size, and zip code (unless using USPS Flat Rate boxes) and generally only includes a “handling” charge if I have to purchase shipping materials (to cover the cost); mostly I use recycled shipping materials and try to ship the most economical method. I will combine shipping, but doing so may delay shipping a day or two as I will need to repackage your items

·         I do my best to accurately and honestly describe all items, but since this is a used item and I have no control over its installation or usage, it is sold “As-Is”.

·         If there is a problem with your item, please let me know before leaving neutral or negative feedback, as I would like the opportunity to make it right. I try to always leave feedback after you are satisfied.

·         Local pick up is welcome. Please contact me for payment options for local pick up.

Tue, 13 Jul 2010

Cars weren't the only models on display during a preview for the Concours D'Elegance of America at Meadow Brook. Wearing dresses by designer Bob Mackie, three female models also posed for the cameras. Mackie, who is known for dressing a number of celebrities, including Cher, originally designed the dresses to be worn in the 1983 North American International Auto Show.
