Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 in photos and on video

Lots of photos of the action at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 and video of almost every supercar on show. This weekend has seen the Goodwood Festival of Speed weave its petrolhead goodness for the assembled throngs on the south coast, so we thought, especially for those that didn’t make it to car heaven, we should give you a taste of what you missed. Fiat 500L five-door spotted

Autoweek spotted this manufacturer-plated Fiat 500L earlier this week on the streets of suburban Detroit. With its round headlights and cheerful grille, the five-door hatchback's resemblance to its three-door cousin is apparent even under its coat of liberally applied camouflage. While the 500L and the smaller 500 models share similar styling cues, the subcompact hatch is not just a slightly stretched 500 with two extra doors.

Saab 9-5 Sportwagon (2011) first official pictures

This is the new Saab 9-5 Sportwagon, and is the third new model released under Spyker ownership after the 9-5 saloon and 9-4X SUV. Saab has released this solitary teaser image ahead of the car’s debut at the 2011 Geneva motor show in March, and while we can’t see the front on the new Saab 9-5 Sportwagon, it’s the back that’s the business end. It’s not your typical hearse-like load lugger: note the raked rear screen and wraparound rear glass.  Figures first, and seats up there’s 527 litres of boot space in the new Saab 9-5 Sportwagon.
