Neiman Marcus tucks a Ferrari FF in its Christmas Book
Tue, 18 Oct 2011Neiman Marcus, purveyor of all things haute couture, has released its annual Christmas Book featuring amazing--and amazingly expensive--gifts for that special someone for the holidays. For the car fan on your list, consider Neiman's version of the 2012 Ferrari FF--for a mere $375,000. That's a bit more than the near $300,000 asking price for a standard Ferrari FF, but you would have one of only 10 examples of the Neiman Marcus Ferrari FF to be built.
Ruiqi G2
Fri, 18 May 2012The Ruiqi G2 – an A-segment model from Chery's new sub-brand – will enter the Chinese market in July, competing with the BAIC E Series and Great Wall Tengyi C20. Designed by Pininfarina, the Ruiqi G2's most distinctive feature is a wave-shaped feature line that wraps up from the rocker, creates an exaggerated rear fender and wraps around the rear to for the rear bumper, the intention of which is to "convey a sense of agility and movement." Chrome highlights on the front grille and tailgate attempt to add a premium touch to the G2 as is the winged, Bentley-inspired badge. The interior architecture is entirely conventional with silver and black trim, while the integrated center panel features a hexagonal HVAC control unit.
Audi Urban Future Awards
Mon, 14 Jun 2010Audi has challenged six international architects to present their vision for a future urban landscape that will explore the interplay between mobility, architecture and the city. The winner of the Audi Urban Future Awards will receive a €100,000 prize to be presented at the Venice Biennale in August. Phase one has been completed, with the contestants presenting their hypothesis for the city of the future at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London in May.
