Marc Girard appointed head of Interior Design at BMW Cars
Wed, 01 Apr 2009Marc Girard starts his new job as head of the Interior Design department at BMW Automobiles today, taking over the post previously held by Michael Ninic who died unexpectedly last year. His appointment also alleviates some of the pressure put on Adrian van Hooydonk, who has effectively been managing both exterior and interior design departments for BMW Cars as well as acclimatizing to his new role as design director of the BMW Group following Chris Bangle's departure last month. A BMW Group designer for the last 15 years, French-born Girard was most recently team leader for Interior Design at BMW Automobiles, having been promoted from the position of head of interior design at MINI - a role he filled from 2004 to 2006.
Aston Martin Rapide – First official image – again!

But it’s not, despite the spy pictures of the Rapide we’ve seen, and now comes the first official picture – apparently. We’ve seen an ‘official’ Aston Martin Rapide image before, but this looks more convincing, even though it is obviously a rendering.

Claire gets to play The Peugeot RCZ is a big deal for Peugeot, so we’ve been looking forward to getting our hands on the RCZ for a review and road test more than most cars this year. Peugeot has already shown recently – with cars like the 3008 and 5008 – that they are once again making cars that – if not exactly the drive of your life – are very much a cut above for the driver.
