New Mazda2 To Debut At October Paris Show

Taking many of its styling cues from the recently launched Mazda3 and mid-size Mazda6, the firm’s new small car also boasts a full range of its ‘Skyactiv’ technology focused on improving driving dynamics and boosting efficiency and economy.

Thu, 21 Jul 2011The 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Prototype will be at Pebble Beach 2011 Yes, much of the world is labouring under an economic cloud, but that doesn’t stop the world’s wealthy car collectors bidding for very special cars such as this 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Prototype. This particular 250 TR is something rather special – although they all are, of course – because it is one of the original prototypes for the Testa Rossa and is expected to beat the current world car auction record – around $30M for a 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic – when it appears at Pebble Beach next month. Royal College of Art Degree Show 2008
Fri, 11 Jul 2008The Vehicle Design Masters program at the RCA held its annual degree show a few weeks ago, showcasing an array of transport designs created by the graduating class of 2008. In all, 18 students - including three PhD graduates - developed projects which dealt with the current issues of accessibility, aerodynamics, environmental impact, ergonomics, legislation, materials, production, safety, and technology, as well as the aesthetic principles of vehicle design. Peter Stevens - the first MA graduate - David Wilkie of Stile Bertone, Alfonso Albaisa of Nissan and Peter Shreyer of Kia were just some of the RCA alumni in attendance.
