Olympic Amy aims for rallying gold
Tue, 12 Nov 2013OLYMPIC GOLD medallist Amy Williams OBE is taking on new challenge when she takes part in the Wales Rally GB that starts on 14 November. Williams will be driving a rally-prepared Mitsubishi Evo and will be co-driven by veteran expert and Sky Sports News Formula One pundit Tony Jardine. Although she had never competed in a rally until recently, Williams has had an intensive 10 weeks of training, including tuition from professional rally driver Elfyn Evans.

Onyx Concept is not as old as the old as some of the other European tuning houses, but they've already made waves with their the tuning programs for the cars that they have offered. The Range Rover Aspen Ultimate Series is not going to be all show and no go, even though we have to admit that we didn't think it was going to be easy to improve upon the supercharged Range Rover's stock output of 505 hp.
AW Design Forum: Style remains key as transportation systems evolve
Thu, 14 Jan 2010The entire way Americans view transportation is going to change, predicts industry expert David Muyres, and designers will be key in making new methods of mobility desirable. Speaking at the AW Design Forum on Thursday morning in Detroit, Muyres said transportation needs to be looked at as a complete system, where cars, cities and technologies--such as the electrical grid--all interact. But for this to work, the cars need to remain exciting, said Muyres.
