Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max 2015 FACELIFT revealed – debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show
Wed, 17 Sep 2014Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max 2015 FACELIFT revealed Ford has been busy grafting their new grill on to cars across their range recently, and the latest models to get the ‘Gaydon Grill’ (and other tweaks) are the C-Max and Grand C-Max – Ford’s 5 and 7 seat MPVs based on the Focus – revealed today ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. As you’e expect, the changes amount to pretty much what we’ve seen with the Ford Focus facelift, so there’s a new grill to make the Ford statement accompanied by new headlights and bonnet. Round the back the tailgate has been given a slicker, simplified makeover, there’s a new bumper and smaller lights.
Wayne Cherry to receive EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award
Mon, 22 Oct 2012Wayne Cherry has been chosen by a panel of his fellow designers as the winner of the EyesOn Design 2013 Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Cherry, who spent his entire design career at GM, joined the company in 1962 after graduating from Art Center and was part of the team that designed the 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado and the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. In 1965 He was transferred to GM's British operations, Vauxhall, and led the design work on the XVR Concept and designed the SRV and the 1978 Equus.
Chrysler sounds rally cry with Super Bowl ad: Video
Mon, 06 Feb 2012Chrysler was a holdout last week. While every other automaker was rolling out its Super Bowl ads days before the big game, Chrysler waited until Sunday's halftime. The ad featured actor Clint Eastwood in a spot appropriately titled "Halftime." Amid gritty images of Detroit, Eastwood talked about America's can-do spirit and the ability to rally back from adversity--just as Detroit has.
