So when we heard that Audi had confirmed – but without detail – that the Audi S1 would be at Paris everything made sense, apart from the lack of detail. But now we know why we got no detail – Audi has backtracked on the S1 and has instead planted the oily bits from the Polo GTI in to an A1 and Christened it the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI.
Charles Morgan dismissal appeal rejected
Sun, 03 Nov 2013Charles Morgan’s appeal against his dismissal from Morgan Motor Company has been rejected, after the firm’s board of directors chose to uphold the ruling last Friday, 25 October. Jaguar has a big history with the Mille Miglia, and has taken to using the annual event to roll out stars to drive its cars for maximum coverage of Jaguar’s Heritage. 2014 is no different – although the number of entries is lower than in previous years – with ten classic Jaguars, including XKs, C-types and one D-type, taking to the Italian roads in May and piloted by a diverse range of star drivers.
