Red-hot VW Golf R400 is headed for production

If you thought the Volkswagen Golf R400 concept displayed at the Beijing auto show seemed suspiciously like a real product -- you know, one you'll someday be able to buy rather than something trotted out to tease the world's enthusiasts -- you were on to something. Callaway introduces Camaro Z/28 SC652

The paint on the logo of the Chevy Camaro Z/28 isn’t even dry yet, and American tuner Callaway is already licking its chops in anticipation. The company says it can take that already-badass Z/28 and boost it to 652 hp, hence the name. To get the extra power, Callaway adds an Eaton TVS2300 supercharger to the LS7, a liquid-to-air intercooler, bigger fuel injectors, carbon injector covers, high-flow intake, low restriction exhaust, embroidered floor mats, door sill panels, badging, plaques, a Callaway key fob and a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.

V6-only Ford F-150 Limited gets more luxury and utility

The big news for the Limited trim option of the 2013 Ford F-150 is that it will be powered exclusively by the company's EcoBoost V6, making 365 hp while returning a claimed 22 mpg on the highway in two-wheel drive trim. The new F-150 Limited gets 22-inch polished aluminum wheels, body-color front and rear bumpers and standard HID headlights. The Limited comes only in SuperCrew configuration, and only in three colors—red, black and white.
