This was removed from a 1973 Cessna 150.

 Its mounted on the firewall and has the cabin heat cable attached to it. Its the door assembly that allows heat in when the cable is pulled.

SRT Viper production halted amid slow sales

Chrysler has made the decision to suspend production of the SRT Viper for a least two months, citing slow sales. The move is expected to result in layoffs of 91 hourly workers at Chrysler's Conner Avenue Assembly plant in Detroit. Back in October of 2013, Chrysler cut Viper production by a third, citing slow sales and growing inventories.

VW extends used-car warranties to all brands

The Volkswagen brand, as part of its push for 800,000 U.S. sales by 2018, has a new used-car warranty program to help dealers sell trade-ins from other brands. This October, VW rolls out "WorldAuto," which extends a limited one-year, 12,000-mile warranty to used non-VW makes and models.

New Mercedes A Class to get 99g/km Mercedes are to use a 1.5 litre diesel from Renault to create a 99g/km Mercedes A Class Blueefficiency. When the new Mercedes A Class was revealed at Geneva last week we got plenty of news about what the cracking new A Class has to offer, including the news that there would be a Mercedes first with the new A Class – a 99g/km option. At the time Mercedes gave us no detail, but its now appears that they are going to use a Renault-sourced 1.5 litre diesel as the basis for the new A Class Eco version – suitably Mercedes sorted.
