In hindsight, the decision made a lot of sense for General Motors, which six weeks later would file for bankruptcy. We had the first news of the estate version of the Chevy Cruze Hatch and saloon back in January with a single photo of the Chevrolet Cruze SW – and not a lot else. Perhaps, as Chevrolet aren’t exactly used to building small estate cars, they hadn’t quite worked out what they were able to offer.
