The Spyker B6 Venator (pictured) will be at Salon Prive this year Victor Muller rolled out his new plans for Spyker ahead of the Geneva Motor Show this year with the arrival of the very convincing Spyker B6 Venator and typically grandiose plans to build and sell so many Spyker would be back on top. But Victor’s plans didn’t stop there, and by April it was clear that Spyker were also planning on building a Venator Spyder too as Victor’s plans to take on the £100k plus sports car market grew. So with plans to make Spyker a force to be reckoned with, Spyker are off to this year’s garden party with cars – Salon Prive – in September with not just the B6 Venator but also the C8 Aileron.

Audi Q1 Compact SUV in 2016 (Audi artist illustration above) It’s only a couple of months since we revealed that the Audi Q1 – Audi’s smallest SUV to date and based on the A1 – is heading towards Audi showrooms in 2016. And now Audi has confirmed it. The new Q1 will add to Audi’s already burgeoning sales of SUV, with the Q3, Q5 and even the Q7, selling well, with the Q5 managing half of the 200,000 plus SUVs Audi sell each year all on its own.

The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Petrolheads on this side of the Pond know what a Mustang is, even if we don’t exactly covet it. But it’s one thing not really coveting a 2011 V6 Mustang – even if it is much improved on the last version – but it’s quite another to ignore the ‘Super’ Mustang know as the Boss. Ford has announced the Ford Mustang Boss 302 for 2012, and they’re claiming they’ve used the M3 as a benchmark for handling.
