Cessna Acs Ignition Switch A-510-9 C292501-0107 C292501-0109 172s Skyhawk 65873 on 2040-parts.com
Schaumburg, Illinois, United States
This is a used Cessna ACS Ignition Switch A-510-9 C292501-0107 with cage 65873. It comes with key matched door and baggage compartment locks. 5 matching and applicable keys are included.
This came from a 2000 Cessna 172S (aircraft had about 3800TT). The owner elected to have the switch and locks changed out because the key does not fit tightly in the ignition switch anymore. The key fits sloppy and can pull about half way out when the ignition is switched on both. It did not affect the actual ignition but he wanted his aircraft to be perfect. Door locks work very tightly. I have not disassembled this switch for inspection. It does have the updated red paint mark on the screw as it is from a 2000 172S (Reference ACS Ignition Switch Service Bulletin SB92-01 and ADVISORY CIRCULAR 43-16A). Buyer and installer to determine suitability for installation. This is being sold as parts only with no warranty. The parts kit to refurbish the contacts is under $20 but as I stated this one has not been disassembled. Local pickup available. We could also make arrangements to meet at 06C in Schaumburg, IL or KPWK in Wheeling, IL. These are options to save on shipping and get it quickly if needed. |
