This is a used Cessna ACS Ignition Switch A-510-9 C292501-0107 with cage 65873.  It comes with key matched door and baggage compartment locks.  5 matching and applicable keys are included.

This came from a 2000 Cessna 172S (aircraft had about 3800TT).  The owner elected to have the switch and locks changed out because the key does not fit tightly in the ignition switch anymore.  The key fits sloppy and can pull about half way out when the ignition is switched on both.  It did not affect the actual ignition but he wanted his aircraft to be perfect.  Door locks work very tightly.

I have not disassembled this switch for inspection.  It does have the updated red paint mark on the screw as it is from a 2000 172S (Reference ACS Ignition Switch Service Bulletin SB92-01 and ADVISORY CIRCULAR 43-16A).   Buyer and installer to determine suitability for installation.  This is being sold as parts only with no warranty.  The parts kit to refurbish the contacts is under $20 but as I stated this one has not been disassembled.

Local pickup available.  We could also make arrangements to meet at 06C in Schaumburg, IL or KPWK in Wheeling, IL.  These are options to save on shipping and get it quickly if needed.

Chevrolet Cruze hatchback concept (2010) first official pictures

Sat, 04 Sep 2010

These are the first pictures of the new Chevrolet Cruze hatchback, a concept car that will be unveiled at the 2010 Paris motor show. Think of it as a thinly veiled look at the new five-door version of the Cruze that will go on sale in 2011. Apparently so, and we all know the old addage that five doors are more popular than four in Europe.

MP slams ministerial cars 'waste'

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

MINISTERS have been accused of wastefulness by having their official cars sitting outside Parliament with the engines running. Labour MP Thomas Docherty said he had seen Government cars sitting in New Palace Yard - one of the main thoroughfares in and out of the Palace of Westminster - for more than an hour with their engines turned on. Commons Leader Andrew Lansley said he had not noticed the problem on his frequent visits in and out of the palace.
