Land Rover can’t keep up with demand for Range Rover & Range Rover Sport
Sat, 28 Sep 2013There’s a 9 month waiting list for the new Range Rover Sport (pictured) The Range Rover has been a big success for Land Rover in recent years, and the launch of the new Range Rover last year – even with big price rises – has seen demand soar to unprecedented levels. Good news for JLR. To add to that, the arrival of the all new Range Rover Sport – this time based on the new Range Rover instead of the old Discovery – has seen the RRS turn from a footballers wife’s car in to a proper sporty SUV, one that can take on the likes of the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 on-road and obliterate them off-road.
2,000hp Trion Nemesis 'hypercar' unveiled
Fri, 04 Apr 2014Apart from having possibly the coolest name of any current hypercar and looking like a Storm Trooper's wheels of choice, the Trion Nemesis is attracting attention for another reason – its 2,000hp engine. At double the level of power produced by a Bugatti Veyron, that ought to deliver some mind-bending performance. Please click on the image above to read more on the Trion Nemesis
50 Jaguar E-Types in convoy through London
Mon, 06 Jun 2011The E-Type Convoy through London - in the rain This isn’t the first story we’ve run this year with ’50′ and Jaguar E-Type in the headline, and it’s a safe bet won’t be the last either. Unless you’ve been in Motoring purdah for the whole of 2011, you’ll know that this year is the 50th anniversary of the debut of the Jaguar E-Type at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, and Jaguar are making the most of the anniversary at every step. But this time it’s not Jaguar who are making the most of the E-Type’s birthday, it’s the organisers of the 2011 Motorexpo in Canary Wharf, who’ve teamed up with the Jaguar’s Driving Club to drive fifty E-Types across London and out to Canary Wharf to kick of this year’s show.
